The Project is being carried out in a pilot area of 900.5 ha in the Viotikos-Kifissos Basin, around the towns of Akontio, Agios Blassios, Cheronia and Thourio. Over two hundred farmers are participating in this country-level Project. The key issues to be addressed are the rational use of pesticides, fertilizers and environmentally-friendly agricultural practices in three major crops grown in Greece.
